Heavily inspired by "The Last of Us," I created Grocery Run in just under a month. I utilized a motion capture system in tandem with the extensive library of Unreal marketplace assets to create a tense thriller in a deadly post-apocalyptic world. Some of my favorite stories are thrillers, and I wanted to take a stab at making something that gets the blood pumping and the heart pounding.

Born out of the weeds of the pandemic, Fae holds a special place in my heart as my first original short. I wrote and directed Fae in order to learn how to utilize Unreal Engine in the filmmaking process. The team behind Fae managed to take this project from concept to final in a mere 4 weeks.

I was listening to some oldies one night, and "Road" by Nick Drake came on my rotation. I'd never heard the song before, but I immediately saw the story of Road play out in my head. The song, a beautiful but haunting take on idealism and the decisions that we make in life, sent me into a creative tailspin that I never exited until Road was created a month later. It's a simple story, but it's meaning is so much deeper than most things I've had the chance to work on, and Road stands out as a clear favorite of mine.
